Arsenolite [Gr. λίθος stone: see -LITE], Dana’s name for white arsenic as a native mineral. † Arsenomelan, obs. synonym of Sartorite and Dufrenoysite, two native arsenio-sulphides of lead. Arsenopyrite [Gr. πυρίτης fire-stone: see PYRITE], native arsenio-sulphide of iron, a mineral of metallic luster, and silvery-gray color, called also Mispickel (Dana). In Brit. Mus. Catal., a synonym of Dufrenoysite.
