1890. Billings, Nat. Med. Dict., Teratoma, a tumor composed of various tissues or systems of tissue, as bone, teeth, etc., which do not normally exist at the place where the tumor grows.
1899. Allbutts Syst. Med., VI. 100. Teratoma or dermoid cyst is another variety of dermoid tumour . It is affirmed that a teratoma never originates in the lung.
