Tannoform, C29H20O18, a product of gallotannic acid and formaldehyde; a reddish white, light powder, insoluble in water, but soluble in alkaline solutions. Tannogallate, Tannogallic a. = GALLOTANNATE, -TANNIC. Tannogelatin, a mixture of gelatin with a solution of tannin.
