In J. Taylor (Water P.), Pennyless Pilgr. (1618), F 3 ‘Sugar-carrion’ has been altered by editors to ‘Sugar-candian.’
1597. Bp. Hall, Sat., II. iv. if not a dramine of Triacle soueraigne, Or Aqua vitæ, or Sugar Candian,… can it remedie.
