Min. [Named by Reuss, 1857, after —— von Lill: see -ITE.] A hydrous silicate of iron, similar in appearance to glauconite.
1865. Watts, Dict. Chem., III. 695. Lillite. A silicate of iron from Przibram in Bohemia…. It is a dull, amorphous, earthy substance of blackish-green colour.
