Phys. [mod.L., a. Gr. ἀρθρωδία, f. ἀρθρώδης well-articulated.] A kind of articulation in which the surfaces of the bones are either plane, or but slightly convex and concave respectively; e.g., the shoulder-joint. Arthrodial a., of, pertaining to, or characterized by, arthrodia. Arthrodic a., = prec.
