ARS(ENIC) + -INE, here used to form a term analogous to am-ine.] A compound having the structure of ammonia or an amine, with arsenic instead of nitrogen; i.e., Arseniuretted hydrogen (AsH3), and any derivative bearing the same relation to it that the amines do to ammonia (NH3); as Trimethyl arsine (CH3)3As. Hence Arsinic a., as in Dimethylarsinic acid.
