1677.  Lond. Gaz., No. 1179/2. The Town … having a large Hornwork with a Halfmoon on each side of it, and a crowned Work before it, all fac’d with Stone and Brick. Ibid., No. 1181/4. Retiring into an Half-moon faced with Brick, which was in the middle of the said Crowned work.
