Zool. [f. mod.L. Cœlelmintha, f. Gr. κοῖλ-ος hollow + ἕλμινς, ἑλμινθ- intestinal worm.] One of the Cœlelmintha, the name given by Owen to a division of the Entozoa having a distinct alimentary canal suspended in a body-cavity; a cavitary.
