1800. trans. Lagranges Chem., II. 244. The camphoric acid unites readily with earths and alkalies. Combinations of this kind are called Camphorates.
1874. Schorlemmer, Man. Chem. Carbon Compounds, 306. Calcium Camphorate is readily soluble in water, and forms large crystals.
