Path. [ad. mod.L. zōanthrōpia, f. Gr. ζῳον animal + ἄνθρωπος man: cf. CYNANTHROPY, LYCANTHROPY.] A form of insanity in which a man imagines himself to be a beast. Hence Zoanthropic a., pertaining to zoanthropy.
