1895. Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch, 6 May, 7/6. A most disastrous fire broke out at the Coke plant. The destruction of the washery and machinery was complete.
1898. Daily News, 2 Dec., 2/2. Quantities of fish are caught, and sent to the gold washeries.
